SEBASTIAN KöRDEL THE MAN UP FRONT IN SLALOM
Slalom Competitions finally started after a lay day on the third event day.
Water polo was the high light activity on Lake Silvaplana.
ALL THE WAY UP ON DAY 4:
Who would turn down an invitation on a sunny smooth morning to visit one of the highest peaks of the famous Mount Corvatsch at an estimated height of 3300meters above sea level.
Heading up is a smooth and exciting ride with a pretty big and stable gondola lift with an amazing view over the lake not long after the departure. Temperature increases and the Clouds appear closer, the views are stunning and its definitely a must do, when visiting lake Silvaplana.
As the day got hotter, the thermal winds started to fill in on the lake, but it took some time, because some of the first slalom heats got cancelled several times until conditions became suitable enough for some exciting racing.
Jordy Vonk [NED] and Sebastian Kördel [GER] share the same points after 2 races and some exciting racing as winds finally blew up to 20knots during the afternoon.
