KWC DAY 1
The first Windsurf and Kite event of the season with a successful start in Langebaan South Africa
The Club Mykonos Kite-Wind Cup is a unique event with its main focus set on having fun, racing with friends, mixture of amateur and professionals who get together to play in the beautiful sailing conditions on the windy coast line of the Langebaan area.
The concept is quite simple with long distance and giant slalom racing formats a total of 40 competitors registered for the 3rd edition of the KWC 2017.
Registration was held on the 2nd of January at the lawn of Cape Sports Center Langebaan South Africa at 9 am followed by a briefing by Robbie Bense, President of the South Africa Windsurfing Association followed by additional information’s from Assistant Organizer Karo van Tonder.
Strong winds, 4 races and awesome action on the opening day.
